DAAM organizes a focus group discussion for youth organizations in Tunisia

In the framework of the project Integrating Human Rights and Gender Equality Principles in Political Parties’ Programs and Policies in Tunisia and Libya , Democratic Transition and Human Rights Support Center “DAAM” organized a focus group discussion for youth organizations for the purpose of preparing the manual guide of the project (Tunisian case)Thursday October 13th, 2016 at the center’s office.

The following organizations participated in the meeting: (I Watch, Youth Can, Youth Against Terrorism, Al-Montada, Shams association).
During this meeting, Mr. Mohamed Omran, “DAAM” Center’s executive director, introduced the center which then was followed by a brief presentation of the report of the interviews that were conducted in September 2016 with several political, parliamentary, and civil society leaders. Mr. Salem Ghalleb, DAAM Tunisia-Libya coordinator, facilitated the discussion which was based on identifying the training needs and necessary skills that must be included in the manual guide and its training package.
The project of “Integrating the principles of human rights and gender equality in political parties’ programs and policies in Tunisia and Libya” is supported by The European Endowment For Democracy“EED”.
