DAAM center held its first plenary meeting on Monday July 10th, 2017 at Majestic Hotel Tunis, in the presence of its board as well as it advisory board from Tunisia, Libya and Egypt, the staff, members, partners and friends. Mr. Mokhtar Trifi, the president of DAAM, opened the session and welcomed the attendees, Mr. Nadhir Bin Yedder, Treasurer of DAAM center, presented the financial report. Mr. Mohammed Omran, Executive Director of DAAM center, also presented the narrative report. Then, Mr. Al-Zahbi Al-Sghiri, the auditor, read the auditor’s report for the year 2016, which included the financial lists for 2016, which did not include any relative errors. According to the auditor’s report, these financial lists are authentic and express the financial position of the Center. At the end, the narrative and financial reports received a unanimous approval. Democratic Transition and Human Rights Support Center (DAAM) has the honor to publish its Financial Report and the Auditor’s Report for the Accounting Year sealed on December 31st, 2016. Since its establishment in September 2015, DAAM Center has been very careful to respect the law and in particular the provisions of Decree No. 88 of 2011 concerning associations, as well as Integrity and transparency, and therefore DAAM publishes the financial report on its official website and page on the social network site.
In addition, DAAM center has published its annual budget, the subject of the financial report and the auditor’s report for 2016 at the entrance to its headquarter so it is visible for the visitors of the Center, and made copies of these reports at the office for those who request them.
DAAM center hopes to set a good example among civil society in this area.
