Democratic Transition & Human Rights Support Center (DAAM) is welcoming candidates for the Program Manager position, a one-year term that is renewable.

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • fluent in Arabic, French, and English;
  • Tunisian or residents of the Republic of Tunisia;
  • of +3 years of experience in program and/or project management within human rights organizations;
  • experienced in programs development and donor outreach;
  • able to manage programs on a daily basis, including managing relations with employees, experts and collaborators;
  • structurally autonomous from political parties and organizations;
  • in possession of a higher education degree in one of the following fields: law, political and social sciences, information and communication, or administration and institution-building;
  • Familiar with basic software (Excel, Word …) as well as fluent in handling the Internet.

The Program Manager is responsible for:

  • Representing the organization in coalitions and networks meetings as well is in media;
  • Globally manage DAAM Center’s programs in Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya;
  • Drafting descriptions, goals, and outputs of assigned programs, to be submitted to funders and donors;
  • Following up with funders and donors in execution of program tasks and to continuously fulfill reporting requirements;
  • Reviewing project proposals, prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and develop capacity-building and other forms of support provided to partners;
  • Exploring, planning and implementing program plans developed in cooperation with local, regional and international partners;
  • Managing the implementation of program tasks within the Center’s defined plan and objectives in ongoing coordination with the Executive Director;
  • Establishing and maintaining relations with partner institutions in the three countries through communicating and engaging with them;
  • Reviewing all publications published by the Center, including the research policy papers;
  • Contributing to producing strategic planning documents in writing;
  • Contributing to content production on DAAM websites and social media platforms.

The program manager operates under the direct supervision of DAAM Executive Director.
