Centre de soutien à la transition démocratique et aux droits de l’homme:
  • Une organisation non gouvernementale sous-régionale indépendante fondée en 2015 visant à créer un climat favorable au progrès de la structure démocratique basée sur les principes des droits de l’homme dans ses intégrations et son intégralité.
  • DAAM cherche à soutenir et promouvoir les processus et les institutions de la démocratie participative basées sur la civilisation, l’égalité et le développement durable par le développement des capacités et en soutenant les efforts visant à réformer les politiques et la législation.
  • Cela aiderait à adapter les principes de la démocratie fondée sur les droits de l’homme et contribuerait à la production de connaissances sur la réalité et les voies de la transition démocratique dans les pays concernés.
  • DAAM travaille en coopération avec les parties prenantes concernées : des organisations de la société civile au niveau local, régional et international, y compris les organes gouvernementaux, les forces politiques et les activistes de la société civile.

PROGRAMME:

In order to achieve its objectives, (DAAM) will work through three interrelated programs, which are:

1. CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM:

The aim of this program is to provide substantive and technical support for civil society organizations to assist in the integration of the human rights values and citizenship for the actors in the paths of the democratic transition and in the forefront the non-governmental organizations, political parties , trade unions and youth initiatives.

2. POLICIES AND LEGISLATIVES REFORMS PROGRAM:

This program works on the domestic legislations system reform to make them suitable to the international human rights standards, as well as reviewing and proposing relevant human rights policies, and working with partners to concretize them.

3. STUDIES AND RESEARCHERS PROGRAM:

The program is designed for conducting studies and researches about the reality and democratic transition processes in the related countries, as well as the process of monitoring and documentation and providing knowledge resources in digital image.

MAIN OBJECTIVES:

Democratic Transition and Human Rights Support Center (DAAM) aims to promote the building ofthe democratic societies paths based on human rights, inpartnership and cooperation with relevant stake holders and in theforefront the civil society organizations, through three main objectives:

1. Strengthening and building the capacities of the actors in the democratic transition paths.
2. Contribute in producing and making available the relevant knowledge to the democratic transition.
3. Contributing in creating political, culture, and legislative climate in favor of / supporting democracy and adapted to the human rights standards (norms)

MEANS AND METHODOLOGY:

(DAAM) depends on the participatory approach in the implementation of its activities through coordination and cooperation with partners and relevant stakeholders, and the selection of the appropriate means to achieve this approach in terms of intellectual activities, campaigns, or different capacity building activities. The center seeks to take advantage of information technology IT and social media, as well as the creative methods to fit youth and arising organizations.
